Squibble (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application (“Squibble” or the “App”).
By using Squibble, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and profile picture (if you choose to add one).
- Authentication Data: If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive basic profile information from these services (name and email).
- User Content: Doodles and drawings you create and send through the App.
- Friend Connections: Information about your friends list and friend requests.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
- Push Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, we store a token to send you notifications.
- Usage Data: How you interact with the App, including features used and time spent.
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App
- Send your doodles to your friends
- Display doodles on home screen widgets
- Send push notifications about new doodles and friend requests
- Process in-app purchases
- Respond to your requests and support inquiries
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- With Your Friends: Your display name, profile picture, and doodles are shared with users you connect with as friends.
- Service Providers: We use third-party services to help operate our App:
- Supabase: Database and authentication (stores your account data and doodles)
- Apple: Sign in with Apple authentication, push notifications, in-app purchases
- Google: Google Sign-In authentication, advertising (AdMob for free users)
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides encryption at rest and in transit. Doodle images are stored in secure cloud storage. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information.
Your Rights and Choices
- Access and Update: You can view and update your profile information in the App.
- Delete Your Account: You can delete your account in Settings, which removes your profile, doodles, and friend connections.
- Push Notifications: You can enable or disable notifications in your device settings.
- Advertising: Free users see ads powered by Google AdMob. Premium subscribers do not see ads.
Children’s Privacy
Squibble is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy in the App or sending you a notification.
